Apologies for the delay in posts. Haven't had the right feel to blog recently up until now. It was all left out since the 21st of Decmber 2009. Went vacation to Kuantan, Pahang. Was there for a whole week.
I kind of miss that place; good company, good food, good wind and very far far away from busyness. Despite having problems with rough seas, we still manage to have fun. =) Monsoon season kills all motorboat and jet ski activities though.
Guess who came along with us...
Snowball.
Do you wonder whether and how can rabbits be smuggled into hotels since one of the most strict rules about hotels in Malaysia is "Strictly no pets allowed". It's simple. XD
Steps on smuggling non-noisy animals/pets in hotels:-
1) First of all firsts, the pet must be small to medium sized; and brought along in a small transport cage. (Horses are definitely out of he question. -.-)
2) Bring a huge carrying bag; e.g. Ikea's shopping bag (I used it. XD) and camouflage items; e.g. towels, newspapers etc.
3) Upon reaching destination, place animal transport cage into carrying bag and put them camouflage items on top of the animal transport cage.
4) Make sure the car is parked at the car park or somewhere further away from the main entrance.
5) Wait in the car with the animals while the others go and check in to their hotel rooms.
6) After acquiring the hotel keys/cards, begin operation shift. Quickly carry the animals to the lifts and up to the hotel rooms.
7) If you only have a room, then you will have to take the animals out to the car until room service finishes cleaning your respective room. Then, transport them back to the hotel room. (Room service cleans your room fast, so it wouldn't be much of a trouble.)
Got stuck in Kuantan for one and a half hours before finding the way to the hotel. All we had a map.
The living room of the hotel.
Pianist not here yet. >.<
Decorations during Christmas eve. =)
Awsome lighting effect at night.
The poolside and dining hall. Ahead lies the sea.
Got out of the hotel to explore Kuantan a little bit. Nearby, there is a batik workshop and batik stalls around it. The picture above shows the processes and materials of Batik.
Confident hands at work. Flawless.
Isn't art facinating? It's called imperfection; another name for art. =) Portraits that have been created. Colourizes the dull batik workshop.
The use of hot wax to form the outline and drawings.
Pantai Chempedak. This place has awesome 7/11 wind power. XD
Clean beach.
Guess what? Monkeys are roaming free. One of them almost stole my mom's handbag because one of them say her putting keropok in her bag. Smart huh?
That huge monkey is a bully. He had one hand full of popcorn but yet continues to use his other hand to eat the rest of the popcorn on the floor. What a scum.
Even graffiti exists nearby beaches.
The bridge which connects to the next part of the beach; away from the rocks.
Some of them planks are missing from this wooden bridge. Slippers and high heels not recommended.
After movie, cousin and family came. =P
Christmas greetings hung on the pillars of shopping complex.

Dad and aunt.
From left; uncle, mom and idiot brother.
In addition; my cousin. Ignore my dumb brother's expression. >.<
The Kemaman Beach early in the morning.
Can you see Spongebob Squarepants? =)
Barricades are placed and the red flag is up on the right. Monsoon season.
Played a few games of pool at the entertainment room.
Visited the Church of St. Thomas twice.
Attended the Christmas Mass. =)
Batik-ville revisit.
Accomplished portraits hung up for sale.
Travelled a little farther, almost nearing Terengganu to see the Cherating Beach.
Since it was Christmas Day, the turtle sanctuary wasn't open. But since we asked politely, we managed to gain access. =) ( No bribery included.)
The place where the turtles' eggs are kept safe from harm.
Found an awesome tree swing.
This here is an albino turtle.
The TurtleMan sharing his knowledge about turtles. Very interesting.
A map which displays the sites where turtles usually goes ashore to lay eggs.
Recorded statistics of turtles laying eggs in a year by per month basis.
The wonderful looking Cherating Beach. This is where Club Med is located.
Awesome sky.
Awesome beach.
The gang.
My fault for spoiling the sand.Cousin having a taste of the sand in between his fingers.
Visited another place called the Pantai Batu Hitam. Know why? Because the stones at this beach is black. =S
Even though Monsoon halted many sea activities, it gives a better weather. XD
Splash.
Dead corals on the rocks.
Looks like a sea shell graveyard. All washed up here.
See that plank there used to shape the pyramid? Well, my cousin yanked the piece of wood from the beach chair, which is the property of the hotel. XD Vandalism for the win.
These are the alive ones.
Went back to our hotel, rested, went down for a swim in the pool and decided to make something out of sand. Decided to build a layered pyramid.

The making process.
Spent more than 1.5 hours doing this pyramid. >___<
The photography session.
Found a friend. Ain't he big?
Chempedak Beach revisited.
Smart monkey. Kicked open the garbage cover and found a McSunday. Lucky chump.
Bagai layang-layang kehilangan tali.
During the few last days of our stay, we had V.S.O.P. Hennessy. Of course, with Pepsi and 7Up mixed. =) Drinking alcohol in a very comfortable and air-conditioned room speeds up the sleepyness rate. Ended up sleeping early. XD
